For
what do you lament?
That
which you have lost
Or
the new knowledge of you?
For who do you love?
The
pristine imagined ideal
Or
the messy reality right here?
For where do you seek?
In
the caves of fading memories
Or
the bold unexplored horizons?
For which will you choose?
To
deepen your clinging roots
Or
flutter your restless wings?
For how will you move forward?
By
turning towards spirit light
Or
the underworld of soul?
For why do you write?
In
the surging need for closure
Or
the hungry want for an opening?
For when will you know?
When
equanimity prevails
Or
when wildness calls?
